LED Light Therapy
Boost complexion, minimise breakouts and restore your glow
LED Light Therapy is a non-invasive, natural, chemical free treatment which can be used to combat signs of aging and other skin concerns. If you worry about acne, redness, inflammation, fine lines, wrinkles or Rosacea, LED light therapy can be used to rejuvenate the skin and encourage a faster healing process. Whilst it’s effective as a stand-alone treatment, it’s often also used alongside another treatment, such as botox or fillers.
LED Light Therapy
What to expect
This treatment is a pain-free, calming experience and takes place in our comfortable treatment room, underneath a light screen. There are a variety of different coloured lights that can be used for the treatment and your colour will be chosen based on your skin concerns. However, each type of LED Light Therapy light feels the same, is painless and works to improve the appearance of your skin.
The two most used types of LED Light Therapy are blue LED and red LED. Blue light has antibacterial properties, used for the treatment of acne without irritation, whilst also reducing oil production, preventing future breakouts and offering a UV-free alternative for the treatment of eczema and psoriasis.
Meanwhile, red light is used to increase natural hydration levels, reduce redness and inflammation, shrink the appearance of pores and accelerate skin repair. It’s also a medically-approved treatment for rosacea.

Talk to our friendly team about whether LED Light Therapy would be a suitable treatment for your skin concerns.
The number of treatments needed will vary, depending on your skin type and what you are hoping to treat. You can have just one session for a ‘pick me up,’ however, around six treatments are recommended for long lasting results.
The optimum time for your skin to absorb enough energy is ten minutes. Our express LED Light Therapy session lasts around twenty minutes and includes an express cleanse beforehand. However, most clients combine their LED light treatment with a prescription facial or peel for a more luxurious experience.
One to two sessions a week is recommended, but depending on your treatment plan, three may be advised.
LED Light Therapy is not suitable during pregnancy or for people who have epilepsy and take light-sensitive medication.
